Tried setting : GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi=force" GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="noveau.blacklist=1 nouveau.modeset=0" Reboot happens fine, but when I suspend the machine, and try to wake it up, I get a blank screen with the cursor on the top left corner, and nothing happens after that. Installed nvidia driver 410 for my nvidia card (GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile) as suggested by nvidia. I am having the suspend/wakeup problem with my Dell XPS-15-9570, removed windows 10 and installed ubuntu 18.04.01 LTS. I created another btrfs snapshot of rootfs with the wifi working and automatic updates disabled.ĭell XPS-15-9570, ubuntu 18.04.01 nvidia GTX 1050 Ti, not waking up Sudo dpkg-reconfigure unattended-upgrades I also turned off the automatic updates, so that it wouldn't automatically install the kernel with broken wifi again. I fixed wifi by rolling back to my earlier btrfs snapshot of my rootfs before the update and did a cold boot. I'm using the HWE (HardWare Enablement) kernel build. I have the same problem with my Dell on Ubuntu 21.04. This appears to just be a regression in the 5.13.0-21 kernel build, but may be fixed in a newer build. Install the old kernel and cold boot (shutdown and power on) instead of just restarting. The older kernel builds 5.13.0-19 or 5.13.0-20 appear to work. Ubuntu 21.10 on Dell WiFi Killer AX500s DBS stopped working in kernel 5.13.0-21-generic This is the same problem that is reported for the Dell which has the same wifi card:
